The Polish singer, Jacek Laszczkowski, is a tenor as well as a sopranist. He was born in 1966 and studied clarinet at Bialystok, later voice at the Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw. He began his career (and still performs) as a tenor, and in the late 90s, he discovered his high countertenor voice. Moreover, he played the main rôle in a film and also likes Jazz and Rock music. In 2003, he was voted as the "singer of the year" by the German magazine, "Opernwelt".
