Oleg Ryabets (Oleg Riabets) was born on June 28, 1967 in Kiev/Ukraine where he
studied at the conservatory, later at the Academy of Music in Moscow. Since 1988, he
was a soloist of the Kiev State Choir. He became known when members of the
English National Opera heard him in 1990. In 1993, he sang the Amore in
Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, and since then he has sung in numerous operas in
Europe and the USA, including some world premieres.
He performs in operas and gives solo recitals, according to his
